You Can Depend on Me (Louis Armstrong song)
"You Can Depend on Me" is a song written by Charles Carpenter, Louis Dunlap and Earl "Fatha" Hines, first recorded by Louis Armstrong in 1931 and released as a 10-inch 78 rpm shellac record on the Columbia label. A live version was released in 1951 on Armstrong's album Satchmo at Pasadena. It should not be confused with the song of the same name, "(You Can) Depend on Me", recorded by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles in 1959.
