Uninsky District (Russian: Уни́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,130 square kilometers (820 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Uni. Population: 9,178 (2010 Census); 11,179 (2002 Census); 12,955 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Uni accounts for 50.0% of the district's total population.
