Stephen Andrew Byrne (born 7 March 1986, Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish artist and animator noted for his work in animation, comic books, video games, and television. He is best known for his work on the Serenity comic with Joss Whedon and Chris Roberson, DC's Green Arrow, and his online animated shorts.
He collaborated with Brian Michael Bendis on the creator-owned sci-fi series Joy Operations under Bendis' Jinxworld imprint, published by Dark Horse Comics in 2021.
He also illustrated the crossover comic miniseries Justice League/Power Rangers, written by Tom Taylor, which debuted in 2017 as a collaboration between DC Comics and BOOM! Studios. The series received media attention for its tone, visual flair, and character moments.
