Sosnovsky District (Russian: Сосно́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,112 square kilometers (815 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Dolgoderevenskoye. Population: 60,941 (2010 Census); 58,570 (2002 Census); 54,328 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Dolgoderevenskoye accounts for 12.6% of the district's total population.
