Shlomo Haliva (Hebrew: שלמה חליוה; born 1949), known as The Weeping Rapist, is an Israeli serial rapist, murderer and suspected serial killer. While serving a rape sentence he was imprisoned for in 1976, Haliva was convicted for the murder of a woman in 1983, when he was sentenced to life imprisonment. He was released after 47 years in April 2024.
