Senta (Serbian Cyrillic: Сента, pronounced [sɛ̌ːnta]; Hungarian: Zenta, pronounced [ˈzɛntɒ]; Romanian: Zenta) is a town and municipality located in Vojvodina, Serbia. It is situated on the bank of the Tisa river in the geographical region of Bačka. The town has a population of 14,452, whilst the Senta municipality has 17,953 inhabitants (2022 census).
