The station is located on the Savigliano-Saluzzo-Cuneo railway line, operating since 1893 (replacing an older station built in 1857) but has suspended services on two occasions: on June 2012 (until January 2019) and March 2020 (until January 2025). It has since reopened for passenger services from January 27, 2025.
