The Rockford crime family, also known as the Zammuto crime family or the Rockford Mafia, was an Italian American Mafia crime family based in Rockford, Illinois. In 1960, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed that the Rockford family had remained an independent crime family, even though they were within close distance to the powerful Chicago Outfit.
