Rai Ahmad Khan Kharal (c. 1776 – 21 September 1857), known as the Nawab of Jhamra, was a Punjabi Muslim chieftain of the Kharal tribe who led a rebellion in the Bar region of Punjab against the British East India Company during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. He is considered as a martyr and folk hero in Punjabi literature.
