Om Murti Anil (Nepali: ओममूर्ति अनिल; born 31 October 1978) is a Nepalese cardiologist, social worker, author and social media influencer. He is the founder of the National Cardiac Centre and is recognized for his contributions to cardiovascular health awareness in Nepal and beyond.6
In 2014, he led and funded an 11-day heart camp, the largest in the country, providing free heart checkups and treatment to 6859 individuals along with research on causes of heart disease in youths.
He has published two books: Ma Pani Doctor (2013), aimed at public health education; and Jiwanta Sambandha (2023), a memoir exploring the importance of relationships and fatherhood. He also founded the Dr. Om Foundation in 2023, a non-profit organization that conducts free health camps, offers scholarships to underprivileged students, and promotes social transformation through community-based initiatives.
Anil has received several honors, including the Prime Minister National Talent Award for his contributions to the health sector, particularly in raising health awareness and providing remote medical services through technology,along with the Nepal Bidhyabhusan Padak and the Suprabal Janasewa Shree – III.
He has over 1.4 million followers on Facebook and more than 150,000 subscribers on YouTube, where he shares his guidance and motivational posts on leading a healthy lifestyle. He also has set two world records which includes Guinness World Records in cardiovascular health awareness.
