Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez (Spanish pronunciation: [nikoˈlas ðe xeˈsus ˈlopes roˈðɾiɣes]; born 31 October 1936) is a Dominican Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of Santo Domingo from 1981 to 2016. He was made a cardinal in 1991.
