Mondariz–Balneario is a spa town and municipality in Galicia, Spain. Originally, a simple parish (Troncoso) of the neighbouring town of Mondariz, it grew into a spa town in the late 19th century following the popularisation of its water which was reputed to have medicinal qualities. It has the distinction of being the smallest municipality in Galicia and one of the smallest in Spain with an area of 2.4 km2.
