Mohamed Hag Ali Hag el Hassan (Arabic: محمد حاج علي حاج الحسن; born 21 November 1947) is a Sudanese-Italian mathematician and physicist who co-founded numerous scientific councils. He is the President of Sudanese National Academy of Sciences, and was the President of The World Academy of Sciences, African Academy of Sciences (1999–2010), and Network of African Science Academies. He was also the Director of Secretariat of InterAcademy Partnership (2010–2016).
