Misfits Entertainment is a British documentary production company that was founded on September 11, 2016 by producer Andee (Dee) Ryder and French-Swiss director & producer Ian Bonhôte.
On January 16 2024, it was annouched that French audiovisual production and distribution company Mediawan had brought a majority stake in London-based British documentary production company Misfits Entertainment, expanding Mediawan's factual production output and their English-language production activities with Mediawan's distribution arm Mediawan Rights will distribute Misfits Entertainment's future productions.
On October 29 2024, Misfits Entertainment expanded into the scripted film & television genre and had hired Film4 executive Ben Coren as their head of scripted with Misfits Entertainment planning to produce two feature films per year from 2025 onwards.
