Maraq (Arabic: مرق), also known as Saloona (Arabic: صالونة) is a Gulf dish and broth originating in Somalia. The dish is common in Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Bahrain, and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It can also be found in Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, and Indonesia.
