Kostanjevica na Krasu (pronounced [kɔˈstaːnjɛʋitsa na ˈkɾaːsu]; Italian: Castagnevizza) is one of the main settlements and the administrative centre of the Municipality of Miren-Kostanjevica in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It is located in the northwestern part of the Karst Plateau, not far from Nova Gorica and the border with Italy.
