Maj. Hon. James Alexander Wedderburn "Hamish" St. Clair-Erskine MC (23 August 1909 – 17 December 1973) was a British soldier and Scottish aristocrat aesthete. Though he was homosexual, he was engaged to Nancy Mitford and inspired the male lead in her novel Highland Fling.
