Daniel Ellis (born June 19, 1980) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who currently works as a goaltending scout for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL).
He was selected in the second round, 60th overall, by the Dallas Stars in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Ellis also played for the Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes, and Florida Panthers.
