Buran (Russian: Буран, lit. 'Buran') is a Russian Navy icebreaker. It was built at Admiralty Shipyard in Leningrad, Soviet Union, in 1966 and remains in service as of 2023.
Buran had a sister ship, Ilya Muromets, which was built in 1965 and decommissioned in 1993.
