William Allen Thompson (born October 10, 1946) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback and safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 1969 NFL/AFL draft. He played college football at Maryland State College and was inducted into the Hawk Hall of Fame in 1984.
Thompson was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 1987.
