Belozersky District (Russian: Белозерский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,420 square kilometers (1,320 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Belozerskoye. Population: 16,934 (2010 Census); 21,128 (2002 Census); 24,208 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Belozerskoye accounts for 24.5% of the district's total population.
