The song peaked at number 13 on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. It was most successful in Canada, reaching number two on the RPM 100 Hit Tracks chart. Ray later re-recorded this song as "Who Wants to Know" on his second album, Live to Fight Another Day, in 2017.
