Two police officers in West Memphis, Arkansas, US were shot and killed during a traffic stop on May 20, 2010. Police killed two suspects, 45-year-old Jerry R. Kane Jr. (b. 1964), and his 16-year-old son Joseph T. Kane (b. 1993). The two were later identified as members of the sovereign citizen movement.
