.22 PDK
.22 PDK is a .224-caliber wildcat cartridge designed by Roy Winnett, based on the 6.8mm Remington SPC case, known as "The Prairie Dog Killer". It is intended for use in AR-15–style rifles and, is a precursor to the .22 Nosler. The .22 PDK is known for its ability to drive 55-grain bullets at 3550 FPS and, 77-grain bullets at 3100 FPS from a 20" AR-15. The .22 PDK was originally a custom cartridge, not a commercially available ones like the .22 LR.
